I used to live in Atlanta, my batteries lasted 4-6 years. I moved to Texas and with global warning, batteries last 2-4 years. Tends to be about 3 years, depending on how much heat it is exposed. If the car is kept under roof in a parking garage, it will be about 4 years. The heat in Texas, killed a dashcam and had to replace all the capacitors and supercaps to bring it back to life.
