So I have a 2919 premium non F type and I really like my seats except for the little crease marks that popped up after my drive home practically. I just got a loaner 2020 I’m pretty sure it’s the same package as mine but the seats seen allot softer than mine. It seems like I sink into them allot more. Both are new mine has 4500 miles and the loaner has 2500 miles.

Premium in 2019 and before was leather (cheap quality).. 2020 is nuluxe (which is nice and soft material)

True that!

What wheels and tires did your RX come with? Was it an F Sport model? Optional wheels/tires?

Didn't realize this was an older post and OP has lost interest.

I know it's the car because that's the only thing that's different in my daily routine. I'm going to try the towel idea, but makes me wonder why I bought the lexus if I was going to use a "seat cushion"--may as well have bought the BMW X3 with the stiff seats (because that's the only reason I opted for the RX350 over the BMW--cushy seats!). My Mom has been driving a Lexus for over 20 years and has had ongoing, severe back pain--I'm now wondering if her Lexus is contributing to it!
I just got the car and now cannot wait until the lease is up
Hoping Lexus looks into the issue with the seats.

The OP didn't clarify if it is the regular RX350 or F-sport. F-sport tends to have stiffer seats and suspension as compared to regular RX350.

I have a regular (EXEC) trim and loved the comfort and adjustments of bucket seats. We tested F-Sport; buckets seats weren't as comfy. Not sure if OP bought a F-Sport?

I have the F Sport version and my butt's bones start to hurt after sitting for around 2 hours. I know, probably different than everyone else's problem. I actually never had back pain in this car. It may be the car or maybe me, who knows. At home I never sit on a chair for 2 hours without getting up and walking around

i mean if it's two minutes I would have noticed right away and starting debating if it's deal breaking. No one test drives for two hours so when I discovered it on the first road trip I already had the car for few weeks.

My brother is a BMW guy, and trades up every few years. His last BMW was a 640 which he loved, but after about 6 months figured out his seat was causing his back & leg pain.
He had BMW to do everything the warranty would allow. He also tried numerous Amazon seat gadgets which didn't work. In this case BMW changed the seats that year and a 30min test drive just wasn't enough.
So he picked his back over the beloved BMW and traded it. Yes, he lost money, but solved his back issue. Also he told me the heated seats did help if his trip was less than 2hrs and took a break after the first hour.
Now, he's an Audi guy...

i did, we had the car for a long weekend, before we ordered the one we have now...
i did a 4 hour run down the river, 2 hours down, lunch, then back... drove it several more times over the weekend long distances as well...

it was a lux 450, so we knew what the seats would be like... i do 17 hour days a couple times a year, so seat comfort was very important to us.

We just Bought a 2021 RX and after 5 days my wife tail bone and butt are hurting so bad she went to the Dr. We traded & she drove my Merc 350GLC smaller stiffer car & she started feeling better but after me driving it My rear was hurting and still the next day. I was driving a loaner RX while we were hoping the dealer would fix the obvious defect. They said they can’t otherwise it would void the warranty 🤣.yes we tried every 14-way adjustment. The dealer suggested we buy cushions. “And they’ve never heard of any complaints about seats” Thank you all for your input. & btw my wife lived her 2013 RX we traded in.

The seats in my 06 RX400h were much more comfortable than our 2017 Rx350, basically the 2 way lumbar now never hits me properly. Used to have 4 way.
