Loaded vs. stripped?
the regular leather ones, or the lux package semi-aniline ??
what's it doing, and color ??
thanks
I have a 17 rx that stickered over 65k usa. definitely a fan of features.
hud was mandatory, triple beam, ML audio, Lux package with the semi-aniline leather and other nice touches.
(inside lighting, wheels, rear shades) 360 camera is nice, pano roof, ........
i do several 1300 mile days a year, and wanted comforts, zero regrets, especially am happy i went 450 vs 350. had a 19 350 loaner, and the difference was very noticeable..
my 17 was born 11/17 delivered december 17 , it could/should have been an 18, but oh well,

I have beige NuLuxe in my CT200h with over 100k miles. It is holding up extremely well. None of the bolsters wear and creases that my 2012 RX450h with 115k miles has, although not actual cracks. It held up well, just not as well as the NuLuxe.
I love having the sunroof, by tilting it up it allows the car the draw in a lot of fresh air without turning on the fan or rolling down the windows. Try driving on the highway with your windows closed, fan off, and air intake on fresh air. Not much air gets drawn in. As soon as you tilt the sunroof, great breeze rush out of the vents, especially refreshing at night.

yes sir, towing motorcycles from the mtns, say asheville nc (cherokee or other smaller areas) to minneapolis..if leave there 6am, home by 10 with my bonus hour changing time zones. not stopping to eat more than once for 15-30 minutes. otherwise, gas, restroom, snacks. ( i take 2 days down, 1 12hr day, then a short 5hr day). i lose an hour down, and middle of the night, tired, the mountain highways like 40 north of maggie valley nc 441 or 129 east or west of cherokee is close to the last leg, and can be a handful
love the adaptive cc, and other features that allow long days like this to be easier. , automatic brights and dimming mirrors too.

For me loaded hands down. I have been searching for a RX for a month now and finally found one. It’s the ultra luxury package with all the bells and whistles. I’ve come to learn that if I settle for something other than what I truly want, I end up getting rid of it. I’d rather do it right and spend the extra money and have no regrets.
I kinda agree with the posts up above. She's not computer savvy and the nav system is complicated to learn. The car comes with manuals, and there's YouTube videos online. I made a new playlist called Lexus and saved some videos to it. I told her how to find those videos and watch them. Told her to read the manuals. Guess what? Women don't want to read manuals. They expect the guy to impart the entire knowledge of this car in a few minutes. Honestly, they need a class for women. This is impossible. They need to watch the videos, read the manual, find this message board, or search the web for info on how to set everything up and learn the Nav system. But they don't, always too busy. I found a video on how to start the car using the key fob, it's on YouTube. Lock the car, push lock 3 times, and on the 3rd time, hold the lock button. Guess what, the car starts. But when you open the door, it will shut off, no way to stop this. I had to find this video and explain it to her.
Another example. I rented a Toyota Camary and drove it from South Florida to Atlanta (10 hours away). I had never been in this car before, but after a few minutes, I learned how to use the adaptive cruise control and the Lane Departure Assist features (buttons on the steering wheel). My wife on the other hand, had no clue how to change these things. She said the RX350 would speed and and slow down using cruise control, but didn't understand what was happening. I told her all the details because I had been in a Toyota, and sure enough, the same buttons are on the steering wheel. Push the cruise control button, and it changes the distance of the radar. Push the LDA button and it turns that on and off.
Florida and Georgia are now a hands free state. You can get a ticket if there is a phone in your hand. If it wasn't for this, I'd buy a base model. But the middle models from the dealer stock come with Nav, 20" Tires, and a few more options. It seems the dealers get the same cars with similar options, because I found the exact same car at two dealers. If the wife can learn the nav system, then she can use it and not get a ticket for having the phone in her hand. But it's going to take some time, because these are complicate options to learn.

We got some option but not fully loaded.
The navigation is not the best but I like that it's in the line of sight and I like not having to use my phone (especially when service is touch and go).
I wanted the HUD and panoramic sunroof but we weren't going to get that without the luxury package at our dealership, so let it go. If I could just have those options on top of what I currently have, I would have added them.
@robvia, I would not paint women with such a broad brush. I am a woman who researched this car, bought it myself and have been reading the manuals.

I thought of that after my post, so sorry to any women I offended. I'm sending my wife the videos one at a time about the Nav and Radio. She has to watch the videos and learn by doing the commands. The RX350 is basically like a space ship compared to what she had (a 2008 Scion XB).
Have built on Lexus site the 2020 vehicle I want, but go to many dealer sites looking for one and can find only two R350 with luxury package. Searched about 10 dealer sites in Texas. Is there a good reason not to pick the luxury vs premium? Yes the luxury has some additional options included that I want and options I would select if I picked the premium option. Seems many of the dealers picked the additional options causing the price to be close to a vehicle with luxury option. Just curious why so many dealers and no vehicles with luxury package.
Just bought a new 2019. No nav. That's the worst option you can buy in a new car at the prices they charge. Too many phone apps work better and the updates are free. Plus if need be I can display a Lexus nav app on the base infotainment screen. Didn't spring $1500 for pimpmobile 20" wheels. Only attractive 20" wheel is on the F Sport. Also didn't feel the "luxury" package was a good bank for the buck option.

Like you, I can’t understand why all four dealers here carry hundreds of base to premium models and none of the luxury models. Yet they will tell you the loaded ones sell as soon as they come in.
On the bright side, when you do get one it definitely stands out.
I got very frustrated trying to locate a loaded 2020. My local dealer couldn’t or wouldn’t go to the trouble. Finally after 3 months I found one with the colors and luxury options I wanted on the other side of town. The town being Houston means I had to drive 50 miles to pick up the car.
