Laminated Window
 

Someone tried to break into cars in my parking lot last night. The thief tried unsuccessfully to break into my car, thanks to the laminated driver window. Still cost me $800 to replace at a lexus dealer 😞

I think that lexus windows are double laminated and the windshield triple laminated. That's why they are more expensive (at least one of the reasons) :)

The same thing happened to me. I went through Safelite to have mine replaced, costing me $440 after deductible and difference for OEM glass.
I believe they tried to use a spring-loaded center punch to attempt to break the glass.
