Hi, just bought a used 2016 rx350 last night and I noticed after opening the glove box I was unable to close it.

On the the right side of the glove box there is a strut (not sure what this should be called) that’s appears to be there so that the glove box opens gracefully. Turns out it looks like the end if that strut that’s goes up into the dash is either broken or disconnected.

if it’s disconnected is this just a quick fix or do I need to bring it into the dealer?
