Sorry if this question asked before. I see two little things that look like sensors right above driver's head. What is this for? Thanks.

It is microphone, as seen in #1 in the diagram below. It's directly overhead

Automakers usually use electric condenser microphones (ECM) and placed them in a shocked mounted (rubber surround) plastic assembly. $1-$3 for the mic and another $1 for the plastic. They tend to spend more on the cables and connector assemblies than the mic.
