Default Lease now or wait ?

We are wanting to lease a Rx because of the current offer and that ends 7.7.2017 . Just thinking of waiting for the 2018 and possible changes considering the vibes and droning complaints .
There will be more special offers on leasing later in the year , I assume .

Anyone waiting for the 2018 Rx ?

I would doubt take Lexus is going to change what ever is giving some people this "drone" or vibration issue because they say it is the normal characteristic of this car. I do not have a drone or vibration. The vehicle makes a very low hum at rpm around 1200, like the sound of shifting from 1st to 4th in a manual. Kind of bogs down. Only under very light acceleration and up a hill. It's easy to avoid this by pushing a bit harder on the accelerator. Never have any vibration. Very smooth.

I don't think that there are any kind of significant changes for 2018.

I bet there are very good lease deals right now and I am sure you can do even better than advertised. They want to move these vehicles now! I would also think that there will continue to be great lease/purchase deals moving forward for the 2017 model. The only difference would be choice of what is available. Color, options, etc.

Find out just what the difference in price would be for a 2017 and a full priced 2018. On a lease it might not be that much.

Good luck, tough decision.

If it's a 36months lease term, I wouldn't bother thinking much about what the next year model will be. If you want a new vehicle now and the deal is good, just get it now with the color combo and option you want. 3 years is very fast. Even if the new model comes out with something you like better, you're not tied to the vehicle you're in now.

$2,999 down and $419 a month , plus tax , the insane 30 minute doc fee for $500 ( that's a thou an hour ) and other fees that are usual .
Should make the payments about $465 or so
'bout the same as my QX50 as a purchase

Also considering a 2014 , 2015 RX

Thx

I think you're reading too much into a minor amount of complaints being posted on this forum as it relates to droning, etc. I have a 2017 RX350F and have no issues what so ever.

I would say lease now, or towards the fall.

Also, IMHO a QX50 doesn't even compare to an RX
