Hey, just noticed this...when I go to info and Click on the weather map with radar, it shows nothing as far as radar is concerned. Is this part of Enform? because I didn't renew it and it seems oddly conincidental. Thanks everyone!

 

Weather and Traffic are updated through the HD signals for both AM and FM. Many but not all stations are
contain HD technology so watch your Radio screen, if you see the HD logo in gray - they are sending the
signal...when it becomes gold - you are receiving the HD signal. If you only listen to iTunes from your
phone/device or exclusively listen to XM then you will not get the updates.

Good news is that there is an easy workaround for this...download Lexus Enform App Suite to your phone
(app and service is free forever...uses data plan minutes however) Keep the LEAS running in the background
and when the phone is paired with the car while driving you will get your Weather and Traffic info updates.
LEAS is also a terrific way to use the phones voice recognition and updated map info to set up routes.

App is free but service is not free forever. According to Lexus website, it's only free for the first year, after that $250-$350 / year depending on the number of Enform services that you want to use.

Enform is the overall name for the various connective apps for Lexus.
MisterQ is partially correct, Lexus Enform Safety Connect involves the
overhead SOS button for the 3/4 watt dedicated phone used to recover
stolen or crashed cars. This is comp for a year and then needs a subscription.
Lexus Enform Remote uses that connection to provide Remote Start/Stop/
Find/Follow/Monitor functions and also requires a subscription. Lexus Destination
Assist for Navigation equipped cars uses the built in phone to permit live operators
to find and download for the busy or distracted driver...for a fee after the year long trial.
