New to Lexus world and hope one of the experts can answer my question... looking for information on RX 350 incentives during the months of Feb-Mar. Planning for a custom order and the customer rep mentioned we will only be eligible for the incentives during the delivery month NOT during the order month (hope that information is correct) and hence the question.

That is correct. It's all based upon delivery date.

 

I did a custom order on my RX and may be able to help you here. Your customer representative/ sales associate is correct. Any incentives on the car will only be available at the time of purchase. I specifically ordered my car in April for it to get here in time for the Golden Opportunity Sales event in August. I was able to get 0.9% Financing for 60 months and 4500 cash back. This was from Lexus Financial.

The current incentive on the RX is still 0.9% Financing but no $500 cash back offer. However, please remember that you can always negotiate the price of the car before ordering. I contacted several dealerships to get the best negotiated price in writing before picking a dealership. I also wanted to get the best sales experience. So, my suggestion is to go to at least 3 dealerships and say, "so-and-so is offering this price when the car gets here, can you beat that?"

Now...the best part. Feb.-Mar. is when Lexus has its "Command Performance Sales Event". It starts mid-February (Feb 13-ish) and ends on March 31st. You might be lucky and get some decent incentives. Hope that helps and happy shopping!

 

Thanks very much and did you mean to say $4500 cash back or $500 cash back? (i guess latter).. right now they have a $1000 incentive going on. BTW do you have any information on what financing incentives to expect for 'command performance sales event'?

 

Yes, I meant to say $500 dollars (missed the shift key and hit 4 instead). Now, a heads up about that $1000 incentive right now. Your options right now are 0.9% for 60 months, 1.9% for 72 months with Lexus Financial or $1000 Cash Back IF you finance outside of Lexus Financial. The best I got (with a darn good credit score, over 700) from chase was 2.8%...http://www.lexus.com/models/RX/offers

As for what will be available during the Command Performance Sales event...I can't help you there. Here were the offers last year. My guess, the RX will be 0.9% and $750 cash back...at best...
