Hi, I'm brand new to the forum but have had a Lexus for several years now. My question is regarding the IPod Nano and some weird issues when listening. I downloaded an Audible Book and saved that book to the iPod. I have the iPod paired via the USB connection to Media (not using bluetooth). The first weird issue is that whenever the car is started and the audiobook starts, it says the words "iPod - and the author's name" over the voice of the narrator. The voice saying iPod, etc. is the voice of the car - not the narrator.

The other issue is that the car controls occasionally resets the iPod to the beginning chapter and then the "track up or track down" doesn't work - neither the ones on the dash or the ones available through the menu. I do not have a navigation system. I am trying to figure out if its the car, the audio book, or the iPod.
