I was wondering if the 2016 x350 comes with an iPod cable? My wife's 2012 RX450h comes came with a 30pin iPod cable. It was a short black cable that was maybe about 6 to 9 inches long that connected to the usb outlet in the armrest compartment.

I have an old ipod nano. It's the old small square unit with a clip on the back that has the 30pin connector. I have a 30pin cable lying around but if the car was supposed to have one included, I want to make sure I have it. I checked the glove compartment and nothing was in there. I also checked the armrest compartment and nothing was in there either.

Ours did not and isn't a 30 pin a generation back in tech? Our '10 or '12 came with an USB extension cable not the iPod/iPhone cable since the plug-in was buried so deep in the console.

No ipod cable is included in any of the 2016 models.
Apple has two out now (30 and lightning) so just like the multiple usb options (mini, micro) it is now up to you to make sure you have the correct cable for your equipment.

 

That is CORRECT. Lexus provided an extension due to the placement of the USB outlet.

 

I ordered a short (10cm) cable from eBay. Works great.
