Default Looking to Install FSport Grill on My Rx350

How easy or difficult is it to install the FSport front grill on my 2016 Rx350?

What's involved?
Should it be a straight swap or easy mods?

Thanks

Default 2016 non f sport to f sport

Hello, after reading a lot of threads on here I confused myself in finding the right parts that I need to convert my base grille into f sport.I would really appreciate if you could provide with a direct link from where you ordered f sport grille( 1 piece or 2 pieces kit).I do have premium luxury package with 360 view and all possible sensors. As I understood if I will buy oem f sport grille it will leave a gap under lower grill piece that will require to install valance lower bumper trim to have a finished look. I attached picture of what im looking for. Thanks

The vendor on eBay was haotangmotor but they don't have a listing for the grill anymore. Here is the title of the listing, " Front Bumper Grille For Lexus RX RX350 RX450h 4-Door 2016-2019 3.5L." You could try to find a similar listing. Btw my grill was sort off a gunmetal color instead of gloss black, which is what the listing claimed. The box description also said gloss black as well. I checked with a few people when I got it and some had gloss black while others got the gunmetal. Good luck!

If you are doing it yourself set some time aside and if you have any questions please let me know.

hi, can I just replace the non f sport with f sport lip. I’m fine with the grill but I like the f sport lip.

Can I just replace the bumper lip. It looks like two pieces only. If so, is it a simple swap the old one with the f sport ones. Thanks

Here's mine. Ebay special. Did it myself and wouldn't do it again. There are so many clips, tabs, and intricacies that I would pay a body shop if I had to do it again. Took me roughly 3hrs from start to finish. Couple of things to keep in mind if you are going to do this yourself. Not sure how this will vary from grill to grill, but the PDC sensors are higher in these aftermarket grills. I had to re-route the harness - luckily theirs enough slack to do so because it's not something I noticed right off the bat. Also, compared to the OEM grill, the PDC sensor mounts were fragile. Ended up using black hot glue to secure them a little better because I could flick them and they would come undone - I hot glued the tabs that hold the sensors to the grill, not the sensor itself; this did the trick. Lastly, the front emblem has two sinching metal clips and a small tab. The tab is easy to remove, but the two sinching clips break off the emblem when removed breaking the top two emblem tabs - utilized the hot glue again to hold the emblem at the top. Overall, very happy with the result and fit and finish for something that cheap when compared to the OEM. In parting, OEM is the way to go as these grills are very robust and well-engineered, but not at the exuberant cost IMO.

Do you have the parts list by chance? I have almost identical damage from deer strike, though not as severe and want to do the same conversion but have tried different shops that don't know how to do the switch. They all say they have called local dealership and they tell them it can't be done due to compatibility of parts. I have shown these photos to shops as proof it can be done but so far no one willing to say they can do it. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Was thinking about getting this on ebay. Seems like the best deal on a full front conversion. What do you guys think?
