Dayum! Maybe it is something that the dealer can fix under warranty? Cuz that's totally abnormal for a new car.

Which door? Anyone else have this? Did it just appear or started to happen one day? How old is the car?

Why are you even bothering to work on a new car LOL? Just let the dealer take care of it (unless you are really far from a dealer).

What type of lubricant have you added to the hinge, and how much torque is the specs calling for on the hinge?

Lol taking it in soon!

I only added we-40 to any hinges and didn't really tighten anything.

Had the car for 11 days.

WD40 isnt really a lubricant you want to dump on a hinge. The go to lubricant is white lithium grease. For the scheduled maintenance thats what they dumped in massive quantities on each of the hinges. But again, new car=warranty lol

Oh that jelly stuff? Good to know! Thanks.

Still on our honeymoon so I'll take it in when I get back to SoCal.

I hope it's an easy fix

Congrats on the wedding....

Sounds like the bolt might in fact over tightened.

So went to the dealer

They said the door is missing a piece and new parts should arrive in a few days. LOL

I guess they forgot to add it when they made the car in good ol CANADA
