I have navigation and when a phone call comes in it changes the screen to the phone call, then phone call completed, it switches to the navigation screen from the music screen that was on before. How do you change it? I have looked everywhere and don't see how to change it to stay on what it was before the call.

I am sure it is something easy, but darn if I can see where to change it.

 

Turn off "Auto Screen Change" or something like that in Settings.

 

I tried that. The auto setting for screen change, changes the screen back to the Menu screen when "turned on" after the current screen is dormant for about ten seconds. When my plates come in, I will ask at the dealership...

 

To those with a dual screen (12.3").. Just got a 21 RX350 with the Mark Levinson 12.3 inch screen and the wife likes to have the dual screen setup with radio presets on one side, and the station info on the other. While driving, for no apparent reason, sometimes the screens change. Right screen will switch to nav, left screen will remove the presets and just have the radio portion. Anybody else notice this.. Do not want to take to dealer unless there is something known to be wrong, or they will do the standard "technician could not duplicate problem"....

 

The presets disappear sometimes on both of our cars - i cant explain what actions cause that but it happens all the time. As far as map replacing music on the right side, Ive only seen that happen when a route is set.

Go to Menu, Setup, General, Scroll to Auto Screen. Select off

 

If I have my main screen on XM radio it will flip back to the map screen after about a minute or so. Is there a way to prevent this?

 

Was there a fix for this? I have a 2021 and the screen will always go back to the Navi screen. I want to leave it on XM radio.

 

I presume the mods might have moved your post to this thread, but the answer is in the post right above yours. The 2021 should have a similar option to the Auto Screen Change in the General settings. Just turn that off, and it should stay at whatever screen you choose.

I am the proud owner of a new 2021 RX 350. Previously, I had a ES300h. I would like to set up the 12.3 screen to always open up to my radio when I turn it on. Is this possible? I can’t seem to find how... I don’t use navigation unless on an out of town trip, so I like to have my radio always showing. I always had it set this way on my ES. Thanks!

 

Thanks, the dealership did that for me, but I wasn’t sure if it was working.

 

I think it is confusing. On my 2017 Es there was a home button. I set the radio to be “home”. So I would use the navigation, and then hit home and always go back to the radio. Now, whenever I hit “go back” it sends me to navigation.

 

Has anyone experienced this? I'll be listening to the radio and after about 30 seconds the display will change itself to some setting screen that I was previously looking at. It's super annoying.

In my research, I only found a result from 2010 with a setting to change, but that setting isn't available in the menu.
