you can buy the wire on eBay just make sure that it comes with the software for about 20 bucks..

Any other technical issues with this "version" of the software. I heard that some of these clones are riddled with viruses so to use a junk laptop or virtual machine. Just curious b/c it is a whole lot cheaper than the subscriptions.

I just ordered this cable from amazon

Hopefully it'll work. Should be arriving before Thursday and ill try it out on my 2017 Canadian RX w/ out Enform.

Hopefully your Canadian RX comes with the remote start build in been that in Canada you guys don’t get Enform...

excellent, so you toggled that, and it went from not working to working ??
my 17 has the subscription , but if the car doesn't communicate, and it sits too long, the remote start from the fob doesn't work till its started and linked again. it sux. lol

was your cable a 2.04 or 1.41 firmware ??

I wonder if the Lexus dealer would be able to do this for a fee, I may call and ask. I have a 16 with no subscription, and no remote start from the key fob.

So i got my mini vci cable and was able to successful get techstream working on an old windows 7 laptop.

Tried to connect and found this... remote engine starter not available on my Canadian 2017 Lexus RX 350



Then i went into customization and tried under the keys and got this.... no luck for us hoosers eh? its not even available as an option.
