Does the nav screen still display the speed limit if you have HUD?

 

Ok, Im trying to figure out this HUD, My speed limit sign only stays up there for 1 minute after passing sign. The navigation info only comes up .25 miles prior to turn and doesn't seem to do that when on the interstate. I have been looking for a way to change this in settings but haven't found any way to change this. Is this the way the lexus HUD works or is there a way to change these things. My nav screen will show turn in 20 mi but nothing on HUD

 

I see no way to change the settings to warn you of a turn, sooner, on the HUD. It does not have near the info NAV screen has.

 

With some manufacturers/vendors working on augmented reality HUD, it's disappointing you can't find an RX, at least here in the Iowa, with HUD. Plus some autos even have multi-color HUD.

Guess I'll remove it from my options wish list.

 

It's a great option. Order one. Or at the very least ask the dealer to find you one. They are out there.

 

Agreed, I saw multiple RX units with the HUD. Wonder why none in your area?

 

It's a regional thing. When I looked at 2015s they couldn't or wouldn't find one and now while looking at 2016 I've already asked them to find one and no luck.

 

Did anybody get the heads up display option? If so how do you like it and would you get it again?

 

Worth every penny and more.

 

Have it and love it. It even reads the local speed limit sign and post the speed limit right next to your actual speed

Yes it does.

 

Its becoming more and more popular so its a nice addition

 

Got it and think its cool, yes, I would get it again.

 

Had it for a week. Wouldn't want to drive without it now.
