2016 rx350 coolant leak..possible HG?

Radiator leaks are common especially on newer cars and because they often leak at the upper tank coolant evaporates and you don't see any signs on the ground. Since you drive very short distances shorten your OCI to 3,000 miles if you don't sludge and varnish will develop.

Where are you in B.C. where it is -20C?

You can always get a kit and do a head gasket test. Kits are like $30 and easy to do. Might want to give that a try

I’ve not heard of this, as a coolant leak. Might you mean the oil leak? That is where the right bank head meets the timing cover. It is more of a seep for most 3.5’s. Our 07 ES had it, and now our 18 RX. But coolant leaks were never an issue that I am aware of.

2GR has a quirk where in the salt belt it causes HG failure from the outside in. Washing the engine bay every spring prevents this but no one does it.
