Hi guys I need your expertice. I have a 2012 RX 450h made in Canada.

A week ago the head light just don’t turn off, I checked every door and button and nothing. Of course after a while battery goes out.

Two days ago I jump started it. Light still on, so left it in my local Lexus dealer for repair. They didnt know what could be, so they reboot the computer. Today they said that is ok and car was ready to pick up. When I arrived the car didn’t start. So the problem is still there.

Any suggestions?

 

Drained battery is the common link between lights staying on and vehicle not starting. Once the lights remaining on has been fixed [you can visually check every time to turn off the vehicle], you can turn your attention to poor battery etc.

I would charge the battery overnight if it has drained downed enough that you can not start the vehicle.

PS: You have paid Lexus for the service/repair. Lean on them to further diagnose. Don't be forced into buying a replacement battery from Lexus.

 

There is no computer to reset for the headlights. The dealer probably didn’t do anything.

 

Post title says Cabin Head Light. Guessing this is the one by the rear-view mirror. And there's a switch. ??

 

I missed that one .. duh!

Are we talking about overhead front pod reading light?

Yes, is the center light, over head, every other light works fine!!

1 week on dealer and they don’r know why!!!
