Brake / ABS Issues
Update:
I decided to take a look at the left rear wheel speed sensor's wiring harness for evidence of rodent chewing. Jacked up the rear end, removed the left rear wheel, and took a good look and feel of the harness for as far up as I could see and reach it. No evidence of damage. So I wiggled the sensor's electrical connector at the wiring harness to make sure it was completely plugged in. It was. I decided to start the engine to see if any dashboard warning lights and messages had changed. They had all magically disappeared and the dashboard was looking normal again. So I reinstalled the wheel and took off on a test drive to see if the dashboard would remain clear. About a mile down the road, the same dashboard warning lights and messages came back on. So either there is some sort of intermittent issue with that sensor, or the system requires a certain amount of driving distance or time to throw the warning lights and messages again.
It does appear that the rear wheel sensor assembly is molded into the back of the hub. There are no bolts or screws visible.

Update:
The vehicle passed our mandatory annual state inspection this morning. I can now take my time figuring out if I can manage to fix this left rear wheel speed sensor issue without having to replace the entire freaking hub and bearing assembly.

Update:
My wife got tired of seeing the amber ABS and red BRAKE warning lights and messages on her dashboard and pitched a fit for me to get this issue resolved. I will replace the factory left rear wheel hub with a new appropriate aftermarket one sourced from QAA. That should fix it - we shall see.
By the way, our local Lexus dealership quoted right at $1,000 for this job. Insanely overpriced....

Update:
A new aftermarket left rear wheel hub & bearing assembly indeed fixed the issue. After the job I was able to use my iCarsoft Toyota/Lexus scan tool to successfully clear all three C-codes that have been pointing to that speed sensor ever since she arrived home from Georgia last Saturday afternoon. The dashboard icons and messages are gone and my wife is quiet again so I am declaring victory.
I wonder how long I have before the right rear wheel speed sensor decides to start acting up. What a stupid design.

Salim,
Sorry, I do not install used parts. While not willing to pay an insane $607 for an OEM Lexus hub from the local dealership parts department or $433 for an OEM Lexus hub from an online seller, I was willing to pay $185 for a high-quality aftermarket hub from QAA.

No, they are a national automotive parts supplier. An acquaintance in the Japanese automotive service business has been using their aftermarket hubs for many years and recommended them to me. He also sourced the part for me.
