Hi. I have a RX450H 2012 and i have a Squeaking noice coming from the rear active sway bar motor.
I Have located it the the motor, not the bushings.
It's very expensive to replay, so i wonder if anyone has taken the motor apart the lubed it or something?
Or can i replace it with a "normal" anti roll bar without the motor?
Regards André from Sweden

Reason: Picture
You could likely replace it with a normal rear sway bar, I know the end links are different between air suspension and non air suspension models but the actual bushings between both bars are 21mm
Would be cool to see if the motor is serviceable though

Thank you so much for the answer.
Do you know if there will be any fault messages if i change it?
Do you also know if theres any way do disassemble the motor and lubricate it?
I wish I knew more about these active rear sway bars, but unfortunately I don’t think they have them here in Canada. I never once saw one at the dealership.
There is an ECU associated with the system but I’m not sure if it can throw codes or not on the dash, worst case scenario you may have to add a resistor to trick the system into seeing what it wants. I would try unplugging it and seeing if the car gets angry and throws codes.
Knowing Toyota it’ll either have lots of screws, etc to take it apart or it’ll be completely sealed, but I have a feeling it is serviceable.
