Exclamation 2010 Lexus RX450 Service Schedule

Hi all,

New to the forum and already found tons of useful information.

I just bought a 2010 RX450 with 118 000 miles on it and I want to change everything from fluids to filters and whatever needed.

Can someone send a pdf to the original service manual/ schedule as I can not find it online for some reason.

Thank you in advance!

Cheers!

Go to https://drivers.lexus.com and create a account. You will be able to view your service schedule as well as your cars service history at a Lexus dealer.

Welcome to C and your new RX450h. You should look at our hybrid subforum for more hybrid specific issues such as cleaning the hybrid battery cooling fan ducts and filters.
Look at the sticky threads on the main page for service tips.
The Toyota Highlander 2nd Generation is a mechanical twin (except the rear suspension) and the guys at the Toyota Nation forum do a lot more work on their own cars and have a larger maintenance help section. https://www.toyotanation.com/forums/...2008-2013.122/

Note that the hybrid transmission is very different from the 6 speed automatic in the 350.
It is very easy to change the transmission fluid in the hybrid. You drain it and then fill it back up until fluid flows out of the fill hole. Always open the fill hole first as you don't want to be stranded with no fluid in the transmission. It takes about 3 or 4 quarts I forget. It is the same as any other Toyota hybrid although the fill and drain plug holes locations may be different. I am sure there are youtube videos for either the RX450h, or the mechanical twin HIghlander Hybrid, or Camry Hybrid.

It has electric power steering. So no fluid there.

Among the owner manuals, there should be thin booklet warranty and service. It has all the recommended service items based on milage and or time.It is a good place to record services done at locations other than the dealer. You can enter them online too (once you create an account).

Thank you all. I have an appointment for inspection and then I will decide what other things to change other than the recommended.
