Cracking leather seats
I have a 2010 rx350, white with tan leather. The front seats are starting to crack. I’ve noticed looking online that this seems to be a common problem with the lighter color leather seats and I’m wondering if anyone has found a good treatment or solution? I’m afraid they might be too far gone at this point 😭 TIA!

once ripped, the only solution is to replace.
All the seats need is weekly wipe down with moist {not wet] wipe down. This maintains the moisture in leather seat.

Thanks for the advice! I do have leather wipes I’ve been using but I guess I’ll just have to live with the cracks. Replacing would be too expensive at this point. Just hoping it won’t affect resale value too much!

Use a soft toothbrush to gently scrub out the cracks and they will be less visible. It is the dirt in them that makes them stand out.
Look at this sticky on Lexus Leather from the detailing forum

Look at these links which show how you can refinish your seats yourself. I have done it on my RX. There are photos in the link. If you do get the kit from Leather Renew, be sure to get the clear top coat too as it makes the seat more durable.

You can have the seats reskinned.
You can buy salvaged seat skins [check eBay]. Whole seats are available.
Check local yards. If the item has to be shipped, the seller can just send the skin only.
Also the unripped portion can be saved and see rips can repaired. Check leather menders etc.
