Default Ex 350 milage

I just joined this forum because my wife is starting to bug me about getting a new car. She just crossed 200k miles in her ex which she bought new in 2013.

the car seems just fine absent being a little soft on bumps in the road. No issues other then regulate maintenance for the 200k miles.

my question are you guys taking your cars to a certain milage before you are getting issues?

thanks

For this 3rd generation series, the usual complaints are leaking rear shocks, loose wheel bearings, failing control arm bushings, and headlamp condensation. These problems can show up by just 50,000 to 60,000 miles but do not always occur. The rear shock issue was supposedly corrected before the 2015 model year.

My wife's 2015 RX350 FWD is her daily driver. It just turned 65,000 miles and has not experienced any of these issues thus far. You may be better off in the long run with a 2015 model rather than say a 2010 model, but how well or poorly the vehicle was maintained should be your primary consideration.

You have already put more miles on that RX (it is an RX as you wrote EX?) than most with no problems. With that many miles, anything can happen but considering your history you have a very reliable and well-maintained vehicle that should carry her for many more miles while you save up for a replacement.
If you still have the original struts and shocks you may want to consider replacing them since you complained about the ride.
