Blower motor replacement

Are there any guides to replace the blower motor?

i have not had the need to mess with 3rd gen blower motor, but in first gen, the blower speed controller would go bad and not the motor. I would suggest that do the checks before you order the blower motor. If you don't find instructions for the 3rd gen, look through the first gen forum.

Take the system out of Auto, and change the fan speed manually. If the blower responds to the switch setting and and if it does blow max at full speed then the blower and the control are OK. If you have issue with the amount of air flow, or feel the fan is being loaded, then check the cabin filter and also the cowl [outside flat area below the windscreen and the engine bay ..accessible with the hood open]. Incidentally, if you do not garage the vehicle, critters love to nest in there.
