Ghost in/on my Audio
I have a strange electrical issue: especially on a hot day as I start to drive the Radio starts all by itself in XM mode and then The CD changer spits out the CD in random order.
It does not happen on cold days or early mornings.
Obviously there is a loose connection or a failing or loose relay/fuse.
Can anyone suggest diagnose process?
How can I remove the Radio unit without having to reset it's code?
TIA

Maybe some one can confirm this for 3rd gen ... there is no security code for the audio equipment [for sure for first gen]. The theft warning light is for vehicle arm/disarm and if armed the alarm would sound if some one opens the door from inside (after the vehicle is armed). So one can remove and reinstall and swap out the audio equipment.
Flaky problems are hard to narrow down to. FYI there is a serial protocol link that connects the accessories and I suspect there is a problem with that [something is sending/receiving errant signals on that bus].
Not much to offer, but I hope it helps in general understanding.
