Default Key fob is not working

Hello everyone ,
The key fob on my 2010 RX350 stoped working. I replaced the battery (CR1620), but the fob is still not working, however I can start the engine if I bring the fob right to the stat button. The spare key fob works okay. Any ideas what could I do? Thanks in advance.

Try another battery and make sure the battery is inserted correctly.

I tried two brand new batteries and made sure the battery is inserted correctly. The fob is still not working...

Did you clean the internal battery contacts?

I believe the key fob battery should be CR1632. Make sure you use the correct battery.

Thank you very much for all great comments. I ordered new batteries (next day delivery with Amazon). This time CR1632. Inserted a new CR1632 and the fob is working! The reason I previously used CR1620 is that my both fobs had CR1620. I guess both batteries CR1620 and CR1632 are fitting the fobs. It appears the new batteries CR1620 were not good. Again, thank you for your help.

Glad to know it is a simple fix.
