Default Rear differential fluid capacity question

So I changed the rear diff fluid of my 2013 Rx with 77k mileage. It only took about .6 quart before the fill line was dripping. Is that ok? Most people say it takes .9 quart to fill. Car was level.

How did you drain the old fluid? You may need to suck the last of it out with something like a turkey baster.

Just by gravity.
I don't mind if there is old fluid in there.
I just want to make sure I did not underfill it, since the old fluid didnt look that bad.

Can I assume since the fill hole was dripping that the fluid level is ok in the rear diff?
