New to the forum and thought maybe you could identify this part. It's from a 2010 RX 350.
It looks like the pin is only on one side, it this ok? Is it supposed to look like this or needs replacing?

The dealer would not answer the question and offered an expensive "Inspection"
Can you post another photo with a larger view? And with better lighting? It does look quite rusted. I cannot really tell what that is and may crawl under my car to take a look.
I would take the vehicle to an independent repair shop. The dealer will only lie to you and try to sell you some unneeded repairs.
