I have 2010 rx350 with 100k, the headlight will randomly turned off while driving, and only one, but sometime is the left one, something is the right one, then if I realize it, I turned the light off then turn them back on, them both were on again, anyone has the problem like this? And how to solve it?

 

My 2007 ES350 did the same thing
The HID lights are probably failing
You can buy them new from Amazon and put them in yourself.
Don’t touch the glass enclosing the filament..... use some gloves
You will save a bunch of money versus doing it at the dealership.
I believe there are YouTube videos you can search to show you stop by step.

 

There are threads here showing how to replace the bulbs, do some searching. It was covered again within the last month or so. IT is not hard to change the HID bulbs and is the same among most Toyota & Lexus vehicles.

 

Hi there, new here. My IS is doing the same thing on the driver side. I am going to try replacing both bulbs but need to research WHICH ones to buy.

This is the one I bought 6 years ago for my 2007 ES350
It also fits 2014 RX350
I know there may be cheaper ones out there but the quality and longevity may be suspect
Stick with Philips or a name brand company and buy from reputable dealer like Amazon.
Make sure the seller is Amazon.com cuz there are cheap Philips look a like knock offs too.
Just my honest opinion........

 

Just keep in mind that the original HID lights are low in Kelvin ~2500-3000k which means they are a bit yellowish.

If you prefer the true white color, you would want to move this up to 5000k.

Amazon has many choices. Philips is one of the top ones.
