Default Tint installer burned Pillars replacement diy help

Has anyone ever replaced the back pillars on the front door?
I know there are options to just cover them but the would like them replaced
Any ideas how to get them off?

Those are called the "B" pillars and those are the covers. I would look for used ones on eBay or http://www.rancholexusrecycling.com/ It may be best to call Rancho Lexus Recycling.
When replacing them you have to beware if there are air bags in them, I do not recall if they are in the pillar or seat.
There should be labels. If in the pillar, disconnect the battery, also watch out for any yellow wires as they are airbag wires.

If you have not taken a car interior apart before, there are a few tricks involved in popping them off, and special tooks so you do not do more damage. You can check youtube.
However any body shop can do this for you quite easily. I would try to get the used parts then call a few body shops for estimates to do the job.

Thanks for the response
Luckily its just the plastic black door pillar of the front door.
I found the first clip on the door pillar but cannot find the lower clip holding it in
The tint shop has already purchased the replacements.

The tint shop owner believe he has to take off the chrome window outer molding to get it off.

If does not know, I would stop at a Lexus dealer body shop or one that does Lexus and ask their advice.
