Default Help for new owner!!!

Bought a used 2015 RX350 as a birthday present to myself. Second day I have it, my son pushes the button to open the glovebox. I had done this several times already, but since he opened it, it will not close. It won't latch and stay closed. I just bought it yesterday. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Happy birthday and congratulations.

Empty out the glove box. This will ensure nothing is blocking.

If it still fails to engage, the latching mechanism may need some adjustment/repair. Look for physical deformity [bend, plastic etc]. Finally it can be s simple issue as readjustment. That part is hands on fix.

Is the RX still under OEM warranty? If yes, I would go to a Lexus dealership and have it checked out ASAP!!!
