2015 RX350 Certified
I am about to buy a 2015 RX350 Certified model
This has the following optional packages:
- Comfort Pkg
- Intuitive Parking Assist
- Navigation System
- Premium Pkg with BSM
- Sport Appearance Pkg
This is via a Lexus dealer.
The dealer has listed this for $35,326 (as the "internet price")
And the dealer is NOT willing to negotiate any further.
Is that the norm? For a dealer not to negotiate .. or give something or anything off ?
Is that fairly priced.
I did check bluebook values on both KBB and CarFax .. and the lexus values to about the price the dealer is asking

Last year, I bought two CPO's a 13 ES and a 15 RX. I was firm and got them to come down on both about 10%.

It does seem to be a recent trend. So many are advertising 'internet pricing' and don't want to go any lower. I'm trying to buy my daughter a 2015 Toyota Corolla and had a dealer walk away from my cash offer over $45 and a $250 doc fee.

It varies from dealer to dealer... I looked at a CPO RC a few months ago, listed at $36.9k online, when I get to the dealer it had $41k on the window. Salesman said internet price was rock bottom. In other words, they were willing to come down 10% from the listed price but the internet price was already discounted 10%. At least I know how that dealer operates now.

I'm starting the very same process on a CPO 2014 or 2015 RX or F Sport. Just in search mode so far to replace my daughter's totaled RX300 (she's fine-it's a Lexus). I'll be interested in your experience and will add mine if it's OK.
Good Luck, Jim

Instead of lowering the price some dealers will add some free maintenance as it actually costs them a lot less than you pay and they have hopes of finding something else to fix they can charge you for.

It is all about your negotiation skills. My best advice, be ready to walk out of a deal. When you set your mind on this, you will land a deal that makes you happy. Key word, happy. At the end of the day, it is about you being happy with your purchase. Define your goal first. Good luck.

We had a similar experience in Portland. They were selling the CPO RX350's faster than you could blink. They weren't willing to negotiate much on price. I got them to come down $1000 and throw in a new set of studded snow tires.

I found two CPO 450h in my area. One was listed for $4k more than the other, but it was the color I wanted (Nubela Gray Pearl with Saddle interior) and it came with the F-sport appearance package. I printed out the ad for the 'cheaper' vehicle and told them to match and they said no. Then I asked what made their RX worth $4k more? The salesman couldn't give me a good answer so he matched the price.
