No, It just attaches to the carpeting on the back of the seat. The Velcro is sewn onto the fabric of the cargo cover. Just sticks right to the carpet on the back of the seat.

I ordered it and got it today. There was no Velcro but instead straps that go around the headrest. The construction is not solid and it vibrates/ rattles while driving. Not sure how long it will last as a few times a month I need to remove it to carry stuff in the cargo area. so returning it and looking for a Lexus original cargo cover from 2010-2012 in black.
I have a 2015 RX 350 and noticed the Tonneau in the back has a gap behind the seats where you can look in and see the booty I am carrying. I noticed on the 2010-2013 they had a material that covered the back seats to the bar. Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Allan
Please read this thread from the beginning, the 2010 through 2013's had the extra material
attached to the roller shade housing that clipped to the second row seats... factory eliminated
the feature for the 2014's onward.
I ordered the pieces and installed them on my 2015 a while back. They're direct replacements. I've just been waiting for a cargo cover with flaps in decent condition for a price I'm willing to pay in my interior color to pop up on ebay.
Wow, I only recently found one in the condition and at the price I was willing to pay on eBay.

My reasoning for the flex in the edge was needed as the rear seats were not fixed [First gen had about 2" of front-aft selectable shift.].
