Default Replacing new battery, how ?

Hi guys

My 2011 RX 350 battery is done, I'm about to replace a new one myself, but I heard that I if I disconnect the OEM battery completely the alarm system will lock the car OR I have to put some code or manually reset things when new battery is connected ? Is this correct guys, because this is my 1st time.

Should I jump start the car, leave it running and do the replacing, or turn it off ??

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Just got it done, take out the OEM battery completely and placed a new one while the car is off, car started fine without any warning or reset needed. Thanks for zero help guys, cheer.
