Default Suspension Torque Settings

Hi, I'm new to the forums and it's great to see such an active community. I'm thinking about re-torquing all of my suspension bolts and need help because I don't have the numbers in front of me.

If anybody knows of the torque numbers for any part of the suspensions, please let me know. Anything helps at this point.

Thanks.

You will need a service manual, or a very patient and helpful counter person at a parts store. You didn't say what year your vehicle is. Unless you suspect that there is something wrong, I doubt you will find any difference between the factory torque, and what your new readings will indicate. The one exception would be wheel torque, as you never know what knucklehead did what to the wheels last time they were off, including people at the Lexus dealership.

If you are just doing it for peace of mind, I hope you are able to find all the correct settings.

If you have AWD the 30,000 mile service does call for re-torqueing the drive shaft bolts and if you search you can find the torque settings somewhere in this forum. I think it is around 80 pounds.
