Unhappy RX 350 Road Noise

Has anyone else experienced excessive road noise with their RX350? I have a 2014 with Dunlop tires, and on certain types of asphalt roads the road noise is incredibly high --- on other types it is unnoticeable. I'm thinking it might be the tires, but I'm not certain. Any thoughts? Thanks!

If it changes to different road conditions it must be the tires, I would think. Mine does the same, if you look at the surface some aggregate (rocks) in the asphalt mix is larger than others, also when the surface is fresh the liquid asphalt fills in around the surface rocks and make it very smooth as this wears away the surface gets lighter in color and of course rougher. Tires are the factor here even though the degree of noise changes the swapping a tire out that is "quieter" will decrease the "road" noise you hear. One of the great things about hearing aids, you can tune this out without trying new tires.

Just about anything Dunlop I've ever ran were far noisier than Michelin or Continental. I have Dunlops on mine at the moment and haven't been annoyed by road noise as much as squealing in every turn. Some of that is FWD, but seems excessive.

I found the squealing due to low tire pressure. Make sure they are all around 32 psi, I found mine had dropped with the cooler weather to 23-25

Default RX350 Road Noise

Thanks for all of the responses! You have pretty much confirmed what I originally thought, i.e. it is a combination of the tires (I don't really like Dunlops anyway) and the road itself. Guess I'll just leave things as they are and wait until I need new tires, then go back to my beloved Michelins.
Thanks!
