Looks great. It really makes the RX look much newer. I bet we'll be seeing more of these conversion in the new future.

Hey specone, I was wondering if you'll see this finished project.

Just remember I stated in the beginning that without the info you provided I would not have ever tried

Thanks to all for your positive thoughts and I'll get better photos of the final out come on the next sunny day.

Total cost was close to $1200 in parts and tools.

my brother actually showed me the post since he is the one with the RX that we converted so im hardly over here in the RX section.
he was 50% of the compiled info for part no list .
I took care of the wiring diagrams etc.
glad we could be of help as it was a big project for us ourselves when we did it
but it looks good

For anybody that is going to attempt the job and may have missed the key link.

In this zip file all information me and my brother compiled through the process is in here. From part number, factory wiring diagram of headlight setup for both 2010-13 and 2014-15 year models. Also making it more simple to understand without the electrical diagram and connector diagram, a pinout diagram pointing out each wire at the actual plug.

good job diggdyone... we were attempting this conversion blindly as no one really had a write up. Just pulled wiring diagrams and part diagrams and went to work.

Here is my conversion. made possible with the help of my brother specONE. all correctly wired up with no error messages and all bulbs working with correct switches.

Thanks plus1 for blazing the trail for this conversion.

Your RX looks mean (in a good way)......have you been holding back from us on your mod skill level........lol

Plus1 please keep this side of Lexus informed on how to mod this little wonder, because I'm sure in years to come these mods will be the norm for younger 2010-2012 RX owners.

Funny thing is, this stared off as my wife's commuter car. Yet, after digging for conversion details the RX became my weekend and afternoon project car.........hehehehehehe

The guys on the Lexus IS side have mods on so so so so many aspects of that car and looking at your RX seems the mod flu has you too.....hehehehehehe

Keep it up plus1 and thanks again.

OEM is better quality than ebay/alibaba stuff. can anybody argue otherwise?

Headlights are not the same shape.
If you do the 2013+ Headlights, you will also have to do a 2013+ bumper as well.

OEM of course is the best way to go but i don't want any hassles....For the headlights i can do a projector retrofit so the beam quality will be fine and the front bumper as long as it's not fiberglass i'm ok with it....

When you have a family and kids you need alot things to be plug n play...lol

Also time/money will make a difference....Cost of ebay stuff vs. oem will be deciding factor
