Default Any post-install caution/issues with Compustar remote start?

I'm hoping someone can comment on first hand experience. I'm planning to get the Compustar Prime 901 for my 2010 RX350.

A question I have will this somehow interfere with the normal function/features of the RX's key fob? I can't give up being able to touch the handle to lock/unlock.

Another remote starter issue that I'm wondering about whether the "take-over/PTS " works ok in the RX ie: the car doesn't shut off when you've used the remote start and got in to drive.

Hope someone can relate, thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Ok... so I took the plunge and had a remote start installed today. I ended up getting a different model installed. This model has the longest range of any non-cellular unit available. Cell based units have recurring fees which I didn't want. My testing so far is impressive. It's working from inside an office building when the car is in the underground garage - so I expect the outdoor range to be really damn far.

So... the good news is the Lexus key-fob functions as normal. The bad news is they tell me that they couldn't override the Lexus/Toyota door shut-off - so when I remote start and get into the car it shuts off and has to be started again. Which is an annoying waste of time and gas!

Anyone get the remote start override working on a Lexus??
