The new 2016 RX 350 has finally been unveiled, and I'm so glad I bought a 2015. Plastic trim around the fender openings, massive grille, very angular sheet metal styling. Definitely not to my liking. I do however like the new headlamp and tail light styling.
I'd heard rumors the new RX might follow some of the body styling cues of the NX and that was enough to convince me to go with the 2015 model a couple of months ago. Thirty additional horsepower, a firmer body structure and some of the new electronic safety features are welcome additions though.
It appears Lexus is targeting the new RX at a somewhat younger crowd with the overly aggressive styling. Do a Google search for "2016 RX 350" for several reviews and extensive photos. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the new style.

 

I like the new aggressive styling. The 2015 RX was nice, but was looking a little dated and boring inside and out. My favorite part of the 2016 RX is the beautiful interior, which makes it worth waiting for. I agree that the black plastic around the fenders is ugly, but easily remedied with professional painting.
