I am a new Lexus owner (2014 RX350) and new to the forum. I have a question regarding the switch next to the dome light switch on the overhead console. It has an icon of a vehicle with the doors open. The owners manual suggests this controls the interior door lights. When I press the switch nothing happens. Has anyone else experienced this?

I searched the forum and couldn't find anything related to this. I apologize in advance if I missed it.

 

Congratulations on your new baby. I think you will gain a new hobby following this forum.
Without seeing your dome light switch, I'd say it turns off the automatic light when a door is opened.

 

Thanks for your suggestion. It does turn off the overhead console light when the door is open. Mystery solved. Thanks.
