Under the Spare Tire
I just purchased a CPO RX 350. In doing some cleaning I noticed what looks like strips of a compound (excuse my ignorance) under the spare tire. Is this normal for the RX 350?

My guess is to make the joint watertight.

I might be wrong, but that looked awfully like some aftermarket stuff. Have you checked the Carfax report when you bought the car? |
