Default 2015 introduction date

I was planning to buy the wife a 2015 RX350, and was curious as to why Lexus decided to make the 2015 models available so early in the year. Thanks

They're redesigning the RX for the 2016 Model Year. Usually, full redesigns (next gen models) come out early in the year, so they wanted the last year of this 3rd gen model RX to be released early so people don't get pissed about buying a new RX late in the year, when Lexus is releasing the new 2016 model in April of next year.

The first RX came out in April 1998 so that's pretty much the way it's been from the beginning.
