Smile problem with Downloading contacts in RX350

Hello guys,
I just got my RX 350 and have this issue which hope you will have a solution for
As a proudly Lexus driver (no navigator) and a Nexus 5 (LG) phone user I want to sync my car's contact with what I have in my phone, but It only download 11 contact where I have more than 100.
Do you have any idea?
Tnx

I'm having the exact same problem. I have tried everything. Bluetooth file transfer didn't even work with mine. It seems like we have the exact same car too. What can I do? I have a Samsung note 2.

Welcome to Club Lexus, TheRogers4.

In addition to anything vartig or others may come back with, one resource you have available to you is your local Lexus Technology Specialist. Each dealership is staffed with one individual whose job is to help train and provide informational support regarding third-party devices and their connectivity to your Lexus vehicle. Give them a call or stop by. Their services are supposed to be free of charge.

Default local place

I did go by and see them. He said he couldn't remember what it was to make it work. We synced my phone with an rx with full nav package and it worked perfectly in the showroom, but still won't work on mine.

If you can transfer only a few contacts, one possible source of errors could be special characters in your contacts. Special characters are typically non-standard ASCII or those that interfere with file name conventions.

Hey TheRogers4 welcome to the Club
Well first I dont think your RX has any problem (normally) so first try another phone if its working fine with bluetooth. my guess is OK.
What is your problem exactly? not transferring file? what files are you going to transfer? music? in order to transfer the file you should be in Bluetooth mode in your RX. do you have problem with Contact? so solution is in your Phone. what version of Android are you using?
