Default 2013 RX350 Cargo Opening

I need to transport a medium-sized leather chair from the desert to the coast. Unfortunately, our RX350 isn't here to measure. The chair is 32"w x 35.5"d x 32.5" h. Will it fit through the hatch opening? I'm thinking it will, but would like to know in advance in case I need to make other arrangements. Thanks...

Our '11 RX hatch opening measures 44" Left to Right, 29" floor to ceiling. Looks like you are out of luck unless you let the chair stick out the back, which probably isn't a good idea because of exhaust fumes making their way into the cabin. Can you lash it to the top? Beverly Hillbilly's style.

Thanks for the prompt reply and the numbers. Now that I think about it, the chair is not a cube shape with the stated dimensions, but in fact has a backrest 8-10" higher than the arms. So the critical dimension of the cargo space is the height of the headliner three feet or so inside the hatch opening. I should be able to tilt the back of the chair enough to get it through the opening, then set it upright (or leave it tilted, if necessary).

If the smallest dimension of the chair is 29", it should fit.
