I have a 2010 with 133k miles, FWD and 19” wheels
I also have a 2013 with 59k, AWD, and 18” wheels
The 2013 is way smoother.
i am going to replace struts and shocks on the 2010 with the same part # as fhe 2013’s, as it appears Lexus changed parts in 2013, and ride is much better
. I am also going to a bigger tire.

I have a 2011 RX350 that rides very hard in the rear. Especially in cold weather (below 40). I have found Three things that really helped it.
1) Set the tires to 32 psi as it says on the door sill sticker.
2) Goodyear Assurance Comfort Tread Tires.
3) Monroe Shocks for the rear. They just came out with these shocks for the RX to help improve the hard ride. They are Monroe oespectrum Shocks Part number 37361 made to remove harshness from the ride.
The shocks and tire pressure made the biggest difference.
I did these three changes to mine and it rides much better, Especially in cold weather. I live in Michigan

terrible ride
I just recently purchased a 2013 rx350 base. it has 18" Michelin tires with 32psi in them. it rides terrible on just average bumpy roads ,its not just firm,it actually jars you like it has no suspension,.had I drove it on anything but glass smooth roads on the test drive I surely wouldn't have bought it. does anyone has any suggestions? it has 81000 miles on it.i had my local agarage check the rear suspension and he couldn't find anything. thank you

I have not taken my to Lexus yet, but i did drive a 2015 with Michelin latitudes on it, and it drove much better....still bouncy... I am trying to get a solution.....You do not notice the horrible ride until you own it for awhile....ridiculous......

Short wheelbase, high centre of gravity & local roads make for a bumpy ride for ours too. I run 19" in the Summer & 18" in the Winter, Michelins on both sets.
The 18" has a higher sidewall & makes a subtle yet noticeable difference in ride quality.Shocks are not leaking. I'm thinking a change in spring rates would help substantially.
Quick change front strut/coil set-ups & rear coils with new shocks might be the answer.
Simple job for any shop or a competent DYI owner.
Someone here recently reported a real improvement after changing to an aftermarket brand of suspension component.
Believe Toyota/ Lexus missed the mark on the OEM design.

However there are no aftermarket springs only OEM latter model years that may be softer. With struts & shocks there are only a few choices, OEM, KYB, Monroe and Sachs. Plus Gabriel, but I would not get those as they are for the lower end market. Some have said replacing the rear shocks with KYB made it ride better.

RX will be a 9 year old vehicle in March with 137K km (83K miles) She is the primary driver & still loves the car.
I seldom drive it but still like it. Other than maintenance & wear items, we've spent $ 600.00 on the car for repairs in the form of a front RH side wheel bearing.
The new ones are love/hate the looks. Can't say I like them .............yet. Quite a few around town but.................not yet for us.
The design still really pops in a crowd of other vehicles with lots of help from the white pearl paint.
Believe our next will be a low-slung AWD sedan. IS perhaps, I prefer the ES, however, she hold the tie breaking vote ( as with many married couples HA!)
