Default Can I delete contacts once transferred to RX?

I have 2014 RX.

I transferred my phone contacts to the vehicle the RX has limit of 1000 contacts. After transferring all of them, I now realized that specific ones I need in the vehicle are not there.

Is there a way to delete contacts already stored in the RX? I need to somehow add specific contacts.

Please let me know. Thanks.

When I get into my RX with my iPhone's 5S BTooth turned on it updates my contacts automatically.

Right, that's my problem. I have the Samsung S3 and it tried transferring all 1500 of my contacts when the RX can only handle 1000.

How can I delete the stores and just sent the ones I need to the RX? I certainly don't need anywhere close to 1000 stored by the RX.

You can't. I'm glad I have an iPhone. I just use Siri to access all of my contacts.

I agree with Lexipro and it is all or non.

1500 contacts, I thought I was bad with near 400.

Might be time to get rid of some of your contacts or you will need to just manually dial as needed.

How about making a second phone list for just stores and making it your second phone list. Then transfer only the ones you need. I did this with my iPhone & its worked great, though I don't have nearly the number of contacts that you do.

Is there a way to control the order of contacts transferred from my phone (Samsung S3) to RX?

I tried entering the contacts I want transferred with an "a" in front of them but they seem to be missed when transferring.

There has to be an order to how they transfer. If I can understand this, I can then put those contacts to the front of the line.

Any ideas on this?

I believe there is a way to do it. If you have a technology specialist at your dealer, they should be able to explain it to you. I think it has something to do with customizing some settings on your phone

I called Lexus and they said you CANNOT transfer individual contacts from phone to RX. Even though there is an option on my phone for this.

Apparently, it's all or nothing when it comes to transferring contacts on your phone. They said the phone transfers contacts in alphabetical order but that does not appear be to happening in my situation.

They said I should "delete" personal data from vehicle and then unpair the phone/repair the phone and transfer again.

I am really annoyed at the answer from Lexus on this.
