Default RX 350 F-Sport Hot Lap against a BMW 435i covertible

Well, we all can predict the outcome of this one, but thought it was not only entertaining but refreshing to hear positive comments on the F-Sport's handling on the track.

Yep the F Sport handles well on a track but what fools!! Also, I dont think the big guy switched all of the RX's systems off, as in fully disabled. He probably just pressed the button once and left it like that!

Willing to bet that a regular Rx would get almost identical numbers. And the 450 would spank them both because of the extra hp and torque coming out of the corners.

Would be great to see a useful comparo of all three instead of this crap.

What a waste of track time and camera footage..... They need wives; or friends.

No chance, itll lean into the curves and slow it down.

Would strongly disagree with that.

Until there is a benchmark of how much the f-sport improves drving dynamics, then the extra hp and engines of the 450 would give it an edge. The transmission is the most significant part of the upgrade package. Everything else just seems to be window dressing.

Here is those same two 'ahem' reviewers (lol) doing a 0-60 comparison of the base and 450. Idiot doesn't even take it out of Eco mode and the 450 gets a better time.

The turning circle per the Lexus website is identical for all RX models (38.8 ft). That would seem to negate any body roll advantage.

Agree, the comparison is on the bizarre side. High altitude too.

They mention in another clip that no woman will work with them because they are so ugly.
These guys are TV wanna-be's. In show-biz, ya gotta start somewhere.
At least, they've figured out how to get free cars to test. I assume they are legitimate loaners, not stolen. : )

Based on the wheels, bumper, and side mirrors, it looks like the 435 they used was the luxury line which when combined with the convertible is probably the least sporty combination you could possibly have for a 435.

If they really wanted to get a more polarizing effect when comparing the two cars they should have gone with the coupe in the m-sport line - albeit their driving times probably wouldn't have been that much different given how they were driving the cars.
