used the dealer free oil change, i hope to do the next one, can it be done on flat ground or do you need ramps to get to drain plug and filter? guess i need the tool to get filter off also, wheres best place to get tool?

 

I don't know about the F but in the RX you don't need ramps nor jacks to change the oil and filter. It is accessible from the front. I suggest to take a look and see if you can reach the oil drain plug without raising the car. If not, then you need either ramps or jacks.
