Homelink Programming using UHR Method
http://www.geniedoor.com/homelink-ga...er-programming
The very last part of this document applies to my garage door. I have an older Genie - no learn button. I have my DIP switch settings, but it's not working.
I have a 2014 lexus RX350 and have the 3 homelink buttons on the mirror. The instructions are incomplete for this car - there are 3 buttons. The instructions talk about pressing a left and right button - but, which buttons are you talking about? Leftmost, and Middle, Leftmost, rightmost, middle and rightmost? I have tried them all.
Also, I am pressing all 3 buttons until the single light flashes, then I start the programming.
Can you help?

The Lexus instructions really do mean "the leftmost" and "the rightmost" buttons of the three -- not the middle.
If you continue to have problems, since you bought a new 2014 (congrats!), give a call to your Technology Specialist at the dealership and ask him/her to walk you through it. If you prefer to try it on your own and you find the Lexus Homelink instructions are challenging, give a try on the official Homelink page HERE where you can input your 2014 Lexus RX, then select Genie (that's as far as I tried with info you provided), and further describe your opener -- eventually, the site provides customized instructions how to do the programming. It's another route you may want to pursue.
Good luck.
