The rear bumper cover just below the tailgate on my RX350 does not extend far enough to protect the outside edge of the bumper from scratches. I know this edge will get scratched up from loading and unloading the cargo area. In contrast, the RX300 cover protects the entire bumper's top edge (below the tailgate).

So how do I protect my new paint? Would one of those clear plastic "stone guard" type products be the answer? Like one of those 3M "clear bras" you put on the leading edge of the hood.

Does anyone make a product like this specifically for this application?

 

Get something on there quick. My bumper looks like crap now. Its black so it makes everything even more noticeable.
